Emotion often runs high when it comes to cats... its unfortunate that some seem to put the rights of the cat before public health issues for take it from me ... feral cats are disease carriers.

Having said that ZAP goes out of its way to contact householders in the area being targeted. Once caught (we never use toxic baits) the animal is taken to our local vet and if he concurs that is indeed feral, the cat is humanely put down.

Regional and Local Councils have been slow to deal with this ever increasing problem and one hopes that a more pro active approach will happen soon.
